Kyoto retreat program 2025 Japan fully funded

For all International creators and artists! Japan is introducing a new exciting residency opportunity no one should miss. Kyoto retreat 2025 applications are open and will take place from October 16 to November 13, 2025 in Kyoto a culturally rich city and most dynamic in Japan.

This is fully funded residency program in Japan that invites talented artists, writers and curators from all around the world to apply. A truly unique chance to spend time in Japan, it focuses on research and creative exploration. Selected participants will take part in 4 day immersive program and deeply engage with Japanese culture. International retreats will have chance to connect and meet fellow creatives.

The Kyoto Retreat Program welcomes applications from writers, visual artists and curators aged 21 and above, welcoming participants internationally, irrespective of race, religion, or gender. The program supports finances, round-trip air ticket, private accommodation, meals and local transportation. Online Applications must be submitted with no application fee. July 15, 2025 is the last date of submission. An amazing opportunity to experience Kyoto’s rich history and culture.
